Intense thunderstorms and gusty winds swept through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab on Tuesday, resulting in at least three fatalities and numerous injuries. The severe weather caused structural collapses, disrupted daily life, and led to significant property damage across multiple districts.
In KP’s Swabi District, a tragic incident occurred when a boundary wall and roof collapsed in Manki village, claiming the life of a two-year-old child. The child’s mother and another sibling sustained injuries and were promptly transported to a local hospital.

A falling solar panel on Phandu Road also caused harm to a pedestrian.
Punjab faced its share of devastation as well. In Mianwali’s Kala Bagh Bazaar, a lightning strike proved fatal for one individual. Structural collapses in the region, including the Makarwal police station, resulted in additional injuries.
