Nine Terrorists Killed in Coordinated Operations Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: ISPR
In a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistani security forces neutralized nine terrorists allegedly linked to Indian-sponsored groups, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operations targeted terrorist hideouts in three districts: four militants were eliminated in North Waziristan, two in Tank, and three in Khyber district’s Bagh area. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased, who were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities in these regions.
ISPR emphasized that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats, reaffirming the military’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari lauded the security forces for their successful operations. PM Sharif highlighted the government’s determination to completely wipe out terrorism, stating that justice will be served to those causing harm to citizens. President Zardari echoed these sentiments, affirming that operations against terrorists will continue until their complete elimination.
