To ease worsening traffic congestion along the Peshawar Road corridor, the Punjab government has greenlit construction of three new underpasses in Rawalpindi—at Race Course Park, Army Graveyard, and Chairing Cross. These projects are part of the 2025–26 Annual Development Programme (ADP), with Rs2.6 billion, Rs1.9 billion, and Rs1.5 billion allocated
