Upgrades include refurbished broadcasting facilities, newly installed seating, modernized dressing rooms, and pitches prepared with specially sourced soil from Nandipur to ensure optimal playing conditions

Iqbal Stadium, established in 1978, has a rich history of hosting international matches, including 24 Tests and 16 ODIs. However, it last hosted an international fixture in April 2008. The upcoming T20Is signify a revival of the stadium’s international status and are part of PCB’s broader strategy to decentralize cricket and bring high-profile matches to various cities across Pakistan
