Security forces in Balochistan have successfully eliminated eight suspected terrorists during coordinated, intelligence‑led clearance operations across multiple districts. The operations were triggered after militants attempted to launch ambushes on security convoys and disrupt the region’s fragile stability.

The crackdown involved joint efforts of the Pakistan Army, paramilitary units, and local law enforcement agencies, supported by aviation assets for surveillance and precision targeting. In Kech’s Mazaaband Range, troops foiled an ambush on a military convoy, pursued fleeing suspects, and neutralized a terrorist cell. A large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives was also seized and destroyed.

Simultaneously, separate operations in Turbat, Coastal Highway vicinity, Kuchlak, and Sibi–Quetta road corridor thwarted coordinated attacks on transportation routes and checkpoints. Security officials confirmed eight militants were killed during these engagements, while vital infrastructure and civilian traffic were safeguarded.

Military spokespersons emphasized that no security personnel were lost during the operations. They hailed the precision and timing of the actions as testament to efficient intelligence-sharing and close coordination across security formations.

These successful operations reinforce ongoing efforts to dismantle militant networks in Balochistan, blunt insurgent momentum, and stabilize key economic and transportation corridors.
