London Taxi Campaign Promotes “Think Tech, Think Pakistan” at London Tech Week

LONDON, June 16, 2025 — A fleet of 50 iconic black London taxis have been adorned with “Think Tech, Think Pakistan” wraps as part of a strategic campaign to position Pakistan as an emerging global technology destination. The initiative was launched in conjunction with Pakistan’s participation in London Tech Week 2025, held at Olympia London last week.

Led by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the campaign coincided with the successful showcase of 14 Pakistani tech firms at the event. Abu Bakar, CEO of PSEB, noted significant investor interest in Pakistan’s digital ecosystem, highlighting the country’s $4 billion tech export market growing at 23% annually, with ambitions to reach $15 billion within five years.

Amir Anzur, CMO of PSEB, underlined how the campaign has generated tens of thousands of daily impressions across London, both on the roads and social media. Participants can enter a contest for a return trip to Lahore or a $1,000 reward by snapping photos of the taxis and using #ThinkTechThinkPakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the campaign for projecting “Pakistan as a forward-looking country harnessing technology, innovation, and youth potential”. IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja added that the campaign reflects government–industry unity and introduces Pakistan as a tech partner of value
