Deadly Blast in Quetta’s Outskirts Claims Two Lives, Injures Several
Quetta, May 31, 2025 — A powerful explosion near the Killi Mangla area on the outskirts of Quetta, Balochistan, resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to seven others on Saturday. The blast targeted tribal leader Abdul Salam Bazai and his brother Abdul Nafay Bazai, both of whom succumbed to their injuries.
Rescue teams and law enforcement agencies promptly arrived at the scene, cordoning off the area and initiating an investigation into the nature and perpetrators of the attack.
This incident adds to a series of violent attacks in Balochistan, a province grappling with a long-standing insurgency. Earlier in May, a tragic blast targeted a school bus in Khuzdar, claiming the lives of several students and staff members.
